　　中加枫华国际学校创办于2003年，前身为中加合作枫华高 级中学(Sino-Canada High School)，是经中、加两国教育主管部门和英国牛津考试局批准，能够同时向中国学生和国际学生提供加拿大、英国课程和学历教育的国际化学校。学校坐落在长三角核心区的淀山湖畔，风景旖旎。教育园区占地550亩，其中教学区占地330亩，建筑面积近8万平方米，办学条件优越，场馆设施齐全，可同时容纳4000名学生就读。

历经多年的发展，学校已经成为包含幼儿园、小学、初中、高中四大学部的综合性国际学校。在课程设置方面，小学和初中在义务教育课程的基础上，设置了科学合理的双语课程、融合课程及丰富多彩的选修课程;高中国际部向学生提供BC、A- LEVEL等国际课程，为学生考取国外提供便利，已有数千名毕业生遍布海外，数百名学生跨进世界排名前10、50、100名的大学。

学生在这里可以感受到民主、宽松、和谐的学习新环境;一个显著特点就是“多元的评价体系”，学校既关注结果，更重视教学过程。在必修课基础教学的前提下，设置多样化、有选择性的课程，增加学生的选择空间，调动学生的学习兴趣，真正让学生发现到自己未来的发展方向。为了使学生能够适应将来出国留学可能会遇见的学习和生活上的困难，学校实行全住宿制度，从现在开始就培养学生独立生活和与人相处的能力。

这样一种对素质教育的不懈追求，使得枫华的教育特色别具一格，完全颠覆了中国教育中传统的“班级制度”。 中加枫华国际学校每个班级的人数不超过25人。学生无“固定”班级，学生需要根据课程安排在各教室和班级间穿行，籍此以获得更多的交际锻炼。学生可以自行选择学习科目以自己不因文化背景、语言基础和兴趣爱好等因素的制约而有机会学习适合自己的课程。学校采用多元化评价体系，对学生进行全面考核。学校除了教授中国所有“家常”课程， 还加入了像马术、计划、交际、艺术、戏剧、电影制作、商业、财会、职业与个人发展等特色课程，以培养学生的综合素养。每个学生都有一张由学生自己和外籍老师共同制订的课程表。枫华认为，真正需要培养的是学生自主学习的能力和自我发展的愿望。学校侧重对人的塑造，力求培养学生的主动性、积极性，让学生从主动学习中体验成功的快乐，鼓励学生自发组织社团，如音乐、戏剧、体育、艺术等社团，充分发挥着学生的创造力。就是这样的一种与中国传统教育完全相背的人才 观，带给了枫华对于教育形式创新的无限活力。
